Petrojet Wins US$170 Million Cyprus Gas Pipeline Contract

On 2 November, Egypt’s Petrojet was reported to have secured a contract worth approximately US$170 million to construct a pipeline transporting natural gas from Cyprus’s Cronos field to Damietta for processing and export. The contract strengthens Egypt’s role as a regional gas-processing and energy-export hub. It creates opportunities for pipeline equipment suppliers, engineering firms and specialist contractors.
